"It was a true honor to accompany Sean [Murray] to the USO and meet Mike Teilmann, numerous volunteers, and close to 200 members of our troops. The bravery, sincerity, whole-heartedness, and vibrancy of each of the young men (and women!) I met was remarkable, and I felt truly inspired by their commitment, optimism, and service to our country.

 

After our visit, and in an effort to learn more about the experience of our service men & women, their families, and organizations dedicated to their support, I found The Wounded Warrior Project . It's a non-profit organization that was founded by a small group of Virginia-based veterans and their friends, that provide complete rehabilitative assistance to warriors as they recover and transition back into civilian life. Their Mission, programs, and advocacy are nothing short of incredible!
